Biography
Dedicated executive with a unique ability to pull at the heartstrings of his audiences through his own personal trials and triumphs, Dante Chestnut Sr. has been giving and sharing real life experiences of urban life and struggles since the ripe age of 10 years old as a public speaker for the Optimist Club.
As (GM) of Music Powers I-Media where his constituency along has sold over 150 Million records and counting and with over 20 years in the business, Dante Chestnut Sr. has gained experience and resources in various areas which inspired him to start his own fashion brand Don Alesante’ Fashions, Entertainment Consulting firm, and record label D.A.M.G. ENT. LLC or The Don Alesante’ Music Group located in Milwaukee, WI with distribution support for select clients from Universal Music Group.
DAMG ENT. LLC assists artists and companies in many fields and music genres such as; production, management, video support, radio promotions, accounting and financial stability, artist development, marketing, distribution, music publishing.
He also works with poets, models, and actors. Dante Chestnut Sr. which is his production name is also known for being a radio and television personality, with WNOV 860 AM and on MAGIC 102.5 FM, 105.7 FM in Jacksonville Fla. On top of being a notable writer under the name “ADAMANT” for Startime, RMP, Swiss Money, Midwest Flavaz magazine and host on Mill Street T.V. reaching consumers locally and across the country.
Dante Chestnut Sr. is an educator, mentor, writer, philanthropist, father, motivational speaker, model and humanitarian as (Founder) of D.A.N.T. E. (Doing Anything Necessary To Educate to help the fight against illiteracy and violence and C.H.I.L.L. Program (Creating Hope I Love Life) which is a non-profit 501c3 foundation where the mission is all inclusive as the assist victims of domestic violence abuse, children who have been abused, raped or neglected as well as support sports, music and liberal arts programs in public schools locally and across the country.
With a passion for service and aid this has allowed him to also launch various new programs he has started in the Milwaukee County Public School, Parks and Recreation system such as the “Music Powers 101 Listen To My Demo” music business course for teens and adults. Dante also serves on the CAAD (Community Alliance Against Drugs) Board in West Allis, WI, Chairman of the Outreach Committee of Community Media Center Channel 14 television station. Founder of “MMM” Men Making Men Mentorship Program for boys ages 11-17. Mr. Chestnut is also on the board for the Dr. Martin Luther King Center in Milwaukee, WI who will be starting a new Marching Band Program under his leadership. Mr. Chestnut was also inducted in the Inaugural Edition of Who’s Who in Black Milwaukee publication with other elite African Americans in the community.
Mr. Chestnut is also Sr. VP of A&R and a leading advisor for Be First Inc and All Tied Up Productions owned and operated by Mr. Tom Ski.
